UPDATE: Juvenile Diabetes walk attracts big support
Several people showed their support for the families and sufferers of Juvenile Diabetes, at Sunday’s walk.
At 11 a.m. in Prince Albert outside of the Art Hauser Centre, the TELUS Walk to Cure Diabetes was hosted in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
The event started with speeches, including Chantelle Hovdebo, chair of the walks seven-year-old son Logan and her daughter Arianna.
Arianna touched the crowd as she described what it’s like to be a sibling of a person Juvenile Diabetes. “He got a lot more toys but I see why because there is nothing to do there,” said Arianna. “I will love him no matter what happens. ”
