Prince Albert Women of the Earth Looking for Performers for Artist Collective

P.A. Women of the Earth Inc. is looking for dancers, fiddle and guitar players for our collective for the 2011/12 season.

This year’s dance group performed at numerous events and took first place in the traditional category at the 2011 Back to Batoche Days and captured first place at South Bay in the contemporary category.

Currently exciting new events are now being proposed. We are currently seeking submissions from emerging, intermediate and more senior youth dancers that are interested to become a member of our Contemporary and Traditional Dance Collective.

We are a contemporary and Traditional Square Dance and Jigging Collective that performs, competes and most of are committed to share and transfer a greater appreciation of this art form.

We are looking for individuals that are punctual, and are willing to commit to the collective to apply as dancers and musicians. We encourage those beginning to dance to participate in our dance class on Saturdays from 2-4 pm at #80 -10th Street East Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. We expect only those whom have a willingness to give back to community and participate respectfully in culture to apply.
