It’s not often that pets are seen in church, but this morning Calvary United Church welcomed them.
It was the blessing of the beasts, a service to celebrate animal companions, even Rev. Darren Wooff brought his dog.
The church supplied pet treats and clean-up supplies for the inevitable “accidents.”
The church service was at 10:30 a.m. and included the congregation from both Calvary United Church and Wesley United Church.
