Aug 12, 2011 | 10:57 AM

The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation and the Government-Trustee Bargaining Committee have reached a tentative collective bargaining agreement.

Both sides are only saying the agreement is based on the recommendations in the mediators report — no further details are being released at this point.

“Teachers have demonstrated their ongoing commitment to Saskatchewan students and their professional conduct throughout this long collective bargaining process,” Gwen Dueck, spokeswoman for the Teachers’ Bargaining Committee said in a news release.

“The tentative agreement will now be presented to them for consideration through a ratification process.”
