Drug bust on Saskatchewan reserve

Three people have been charged following a drug bust on the Thunderchild First Nation
On Wednesday, Turtleford RCMP along with the North Battleford GIS Unit executed a search warrant at a residence on the reserve. They seized marijuana packaged for sale, some cash, and three marijuana plants.
Robert Colin Brown, 29, Sandra Gail Wapass, 39, and Kristian Annie Wapass, 20, all face charges of trafficking in marijuana, possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking, production of marijuana and possession of proceeds of crime.
All three will appear in St. Walburg court in October.
The bust took place at the same time as the First Nation Summer games which are being held on the reserve.
