Twin serious assaults

One person is in hospital with serious injuries after an assault on the Sturgeon Lake Reserve overnight.

At about 12:30 a.m., Parkland Ambulance paramedics responded to a call that someone had been assaulted. They treated a person with serious injuries and transported them to Hospital.

Today the person is in good and stable condition.

Later this morning at about 9:45 a.m. paramedics responded to a different assault call on the Muskoday First Nation.

This person also sustained serious injuries and is in hospital listed in good and stable condition.
