Mom! I’m Bored. It’s O.K. There is the playground Programi

Every summer, children 6 to 12 years of age are invited to take part in a fun-filled summer of FREE activities at 10 different playground locations throughout the City.

Each playground is staffed by two qualified and trained playground supervisors. The summer’s playground program includes cooperative games, crafts, songs, stories, sports and much more. Activities focus on a different theme every week, and special events are also planned “off the playgrounds” for all kids to enjoy. The program also offers free of charge a summer sports program, an arts program and a cultural program.

Specialized playleaders travel from playground to playground offering the children different sporting and craft activities. Please view the Playground brochure for further information regarding dates and times of the playground program as well as other children’s activities that are offered by the City.

The hours of operation for the playground programs are as follows: Monday to Thursday -12:00 noon to 5:30 p.m. Friday -1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Ella Muzzy Playground in Kinsmen Park is open 7 days a week, and the playground program times are as follows: Monday to Thursday -12:00 noon to 5:30 p.m. Friday to Sunday -1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
