Evergreen Artistan Show and Sale Has Many Changes

Jul 23, 2011 | 9:35 AM

The 2011 Evergreen Artisan Show and Sale, sponsored by the Prince Albert Council for the Arts, has been transformed.

This year, the show will be at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre for the Arts and will include the Mann Art Gallery. Organizers are excited this artisan show will now be located in an arts facility, and the organic layout of the Rawlinson Centre will create the perfect atmosphere for the sale.

The date has also been changed. Traditionally, the show and sale has been the last week of November. This year however, Evergreen will be November 12 and 13th.

Another change is with the food vendors. Instead of meals and snacks being provided by one vendor – Evergreen is planning to have four or five local gourmet caterers and a beverage bar to serve teas, coffees, cappachinoes and other homemade drinks.

Because Evergreen is sponsored by the PA Council for the Arts, whose mandate is to promote arts in the community, the show will also feature local buskers which will be located in various locations in the building – and local performing artists.

The Mann Art Gallery will be included in the show and there will be children's programming at the event.

Mark your calendars today for this fantastic event.
