Emma Lake getting upgrade

There is some good news for people who frequent Emma Lake.

The province has announced that the recreation site is getting a new service center.

The existing facility was built in 1968 and is long overdue for replacement.

“Our visitors have identified modern, clean washroom facilities as a priority,” said Minister Bill Hutchinson Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport, in a press release.

Construction on the new facility will start this fall and should be ready for next year's park season.
