GETTing ready for the race

A group of 10 girls were off to the races this afternoon. It was the wrap-up of the week long Girls Exploring Trades and Technologies (GETT) Camp at SIAST.

The group of Grade 7 and 8 girls spent the week building their go-karts and learning a variety of trades in the process.

They ended it with a race – one girl would push the other through the obstacle course and then they would switch. The team of two with the fastest time came out on top.
