A 12-year-old boy was shot and killed in the Lac La Ronge Indian Band community of Hall Lake.
Just before nine this morning La Ronge RCMP were called to Hall Lake, about an hour southwest of La Ronge.
The initial call to the RCMP indicated the boy was wounded, but when they got there they determined that the boy had succumbed to his injuries.
Prince Albert Identification Services, an RCMP Police Service Dog and coroner are assisting in the investigation.
