UPDATE: ATV rollover sends five to hospital

An ATV rollover Tuesday evening sent five people to hospital.

At about 7:45 p.m. the single ATV rolled on a grid road near the Sturgeon Lake First Nation.

Paramedic treated the five for minor injuries before taking them to Victoria Hospital for further care and treatment. Three were immediately released, while two people remain in hospital.

Injured in the accident was a 59-year-old male, two 14-year-old females, a 9-year-old female and an 11- year-old female.

It is not believed that helmets were being worn at the time of the rollover.
