Stats Can reports Saskatchewan population increasing at slow pace
Saskatchewan's population has hit another all-time high.
One million 54 thousand people now call this province home. That's a new all-time high, despite hundreds packing up and moving to Alberta.
Roughly 2,800 people packed up and moved next door during the first three months of 2011. But Michael Fabiyi, with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp, insists the provincial economy is strong and he's not worried.
“Am I watching it closely? Yes, absolutely, but it doesn't pose any concerns right now because we're still growing,” said Fabiyi.
