P.A. pulp mill sets tentative date

The Prince Albert Pulp Mill is set to reopen Aug. 31, 2012.

Paper Excellence announced the date during a meeting, Tuesday afternoon at the Prince Albert Inn.

The meeting was held to talk with vendors and contractors about what products and services would be needed at the mill site.

Senior management said they were not expecting the turnout they saw.

The meeting room was so full that contractors and vendors had to line up outside in the hallway during the 20 minute presentation, which was then followed by more than an hour-and-a half of questions by those in attendance.
