Prince Albert historical site has plaque stolen
The general manager of Prince Albert Exhibition made a discovery that he’s still scratching his head over.
The Octagonal Building’s plaque has been stolen, a rectangular brown spot of evidence is where it used to be.
“It made no sense to me why somebody would take that. Why would you take that? You can’t sell it, you can’t pawn it, it’s worth nothing,” said Dave Young, the general manager of the Prince Albert Exhibition Centre.
“Yeah, we can replace the plaque, that’s not the point. The point is, why would you take it?”
