A year after floodwaters washed out a large section of the Trans-Canada Highway near Maple Creek, the work continues to repair the major roadway.
Beginning on Monday, Highway 1 west of Maple Creek will be down to two lanes.
Dan Palmer, with the Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure, said crews will be installing a large culvert under the stretch of the Trans-Canada that collapsed under the weight of massive floodwaters last spring.
The culvert will be able to handle a higher amount of water.
