Nippie charges changed, faces aggravated assault

A Prince Albert woman is looking at lesser charges for an alleged crime.
Windy Dawn Nippie was originally charged with attempted murder. It stems from an incident in November when the woman, 18 years old at the time, allegedly slashed the throat of a 27-year-old man after getting into a dispute.
After her preliminary hearing this afternoon, her charge was changed to aggravated assault. An attempted murder charge would mean she intended to kill the man.
