The Children of Blooms and Buds had a special event today to wrap up Early Learning and Child Care Month!

Today the children were honoured at Mont St. Joseph Volunteer Appreciation Tea.

The Main Lounge at Mont St Joseph is filled with beautifully set tables and is surrounded with some of the most important people, the Volunteers that are so appreciated every day!

The children from Blooms and Buds have a beautiful table reserved just for them.

As the children arrive with huge smiles, they hold their heads as proud as can be waiting to receive there certificate of appreciation… followed by none other than a DQ gift certificate…such a simple gesture…to them what a huge honour!

Thank you to the Director of Volunteer services, Shannon Meyers and the wonderful recreation ladies for including the children in your appreciation tea.

The Children of Blooms and Buds are a daily part of life at Mont St. Joseph Home, whether we gather on a deck for sidewalk chalk and fruit smoothies or just enjoying a good old summer BBQ.

We spend a little time every day making sure that we brighten someone else’s.
