Saskatchewan Roughriders sign three defensive players

The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed three defensive players on Wednesday.

Import defensive end Courtney Harris played for two years at Miami before transferring to North Alabama where he played the last two seasons of his college career.

Import defensive back Eddie Russ had 70 tackles, six interceptions and two fumble recoveries in two seasons at Harding University in Searcy Arkansas.

Import linebacker Johnathon Smith spent two seasons at Connecticut before transferring to the University of Delaware. Smith has not only played linebacker in college, but also spent some some time at running back.
