Talks between the government trustee bargaining committee and the Saskatchewan Teacher's Federation have broken off. They'd only been back on for three days.
Teachers went back at the table asking for a 16.3 per cent raise over three years. That was down from the 12 per cent they'd been asking for over one year.
The government trustee bargaining committee said the latest request from teachers shows they are unwilling to negotiate.
