May 16, 2011 | 11:32 AM

A woman who killed six people while driving while impaired is being released from prison.

Norma Jean Mooswa has been serving a ten-year prison term for causing the deaths of six people in a crash at Cochin on Canada Day in 2004.

She has now served two thirds of her term, which means she has been granted statutory release, finishing the final thrid of her sentence in the community, under supervision.

In documents dated May 5 the Parole Board of Canada imposes extra restrictions on Mooswa's release — she is not to drink alcohol or enter any drinking establishment.
