April is Aeroplan Month “UPDATED” Donation Totals Announced

The donation of Aeroplan Miles to the Victoria Hospital Foundation during the month of April has been very encouraging according to foundation executive director, Rob Dalziel. In total more than 146,000 Aeroplan Miles were donated or transferred to the Victoria Hospital Foundation. The foundation uses the donated Aeroplan Miles to offset or reduce fund raising costs throughout the year.

This year’s campaign had two major partners, Malcolm Jenkins of Canadian Tire, who offered to match each Aeroplan Mile donated up to a total of 50,000 miles. The other new partner this year was Home Building Centre in Prince Albert. Home Build Centre also ran an in-house contest for donors who donated their Aeroplan Miles at the store. Eligible donors were entered to win a draw for a $1,000 Home Building Centre Gift Card. The winner was Bart DeMarie of Prince Albert.
