RCMP investigate Ahtahkakoop suspicious death

RCMP are investigating a suspicious death at the Ahtahkakoop First Nation.
At about 6:30 a.m. Sunday, Shellbrook RCMP received a complaint about a disturbance in the area.
A member visited the residence in question and found a 25-year-old man outside the residence. He was lying on a piece of ice in the adjacent lake.
The RCMP officer waded into the water and retrieved the man with the help of a bystander and brought him to shore. The victim was unresponsive.
