Former Regina teacher charged with sexual assault

A former Regina teacher is now facing eleven sexual assault-related charges.

Police say 33-year old Corey Randall Matthews was arrested last week, after further investigations into allegations he invited a 15-year old boy to touch his body in a sexual manner in 2006. It's alleged five incidents occured between March of 2006 and June of 2007.

Matthews is now charged with four counts of Sexual Assault, five charges of Sexual Exploitation, and two charges of Anal Intercourse.

He is due in provincial court on Monday.
