Kicking off Relay for Life

Cancer survivors wearing their designated yellow t-shirts applaud at the launch of Prince Albert 11th annual Relay for Life.

The Canadian Cancer Society fundraiser named Malcolm Jenkins as the honorary chair. He will provide awards, through Canadian Tire, for those top three fundraising teams.

Last year Jenkins matched donations to Prince Albert’s 10th annual relay up to $500,000 in memory of his late wife Melba, who succumbed to cancer in March 2010.

Relay for Life begins June 3.
