Chili for charity

The Eagle’s Nest Lounge was packed this afternoon for the Annual Power 99FM Chili Cook-off.
The event is a fundraiser for the Children’s Haven, and with only 10 entries allowed it was stiff competition.
Bottomless bowls of chili were available for $5 and teams were dressed-up to suit their theme.
The fundraiser ran from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. and raised about $8,000.
