Kinistino seniors’ club receives boost

The federal government made a small funding announcement Friday for seniors in Kinistino, as election speculation runs rapid in Ottawa.

The Kinistino Half Century Club received $16,249 to fix up their club and replace tables so that seniors can continue participating in recreational and social activities.

The funding comes from the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program. The Kinistino Half Century is one of 810 projects to receive funding.
