P.A. firefighters issue warning about river ice after weekend rescues

The Prince Albert Fire Department is sounding the alarm bells after responding to multiple incidents of people falling through the North Saskatchewan River ice over the weekend.

Environment Canada said areas west of P.A. will get up to 5 cm of snow, but the narrow system will largely avoid the city.

It looks like Prince Albert and the immediate surrounding areas will dodge the worst of the snow heading our way from the U.S.

Initial forecasts called for up to 10 cm of snow for the city, but that now appears much less likely, according to Environment Canada's John Paul Cragg.
