All wildfire evacuees set to return home

The chief of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation has lifted the evacuation order for the remaining residents of Pelican Narrows.

Chief Peter A. Beatty told the elderly, those with chronic breathing conditions, and pregnant women on Sept. 20 they were free to return home.

PAFD respond to dryer fire

The Prince Albert Fire Department responded to a call about a clothes dryer which caught on fire this morning.

On Sept. 15, firefighters responded to a call on the 200 block of 11th St. E for a possible structure fire. Upon arrival crews found a clothes dryer which caught on fire.
