Close call in Midtown

There were no injuries after two vehicles collided late Tuesday afternoon in Prince Albert's midtown area.

Around 4:30 p.m. a van and a truck crashed near the intersection of Eight Street East and Fifth Avenue East.

City looking for means to tackle nuisance properties

A bylaw designed to target residential and commercial properties with fines or penalties that are a drain on city police, fire and bylaw services is under the microscope at city hall.

The primary focus is aimed at cost recovery for these services and to reduce problematic behaviour.

Baby Aurora taken off life-support

The tragic and long-term consequences of drinking and driving are coming to a heartbreaking end for the family and friends of four-year-old Aurora Sky Brandi Ledoux.

A decision was made to end Aurora’s dependence on life-supports late Tuesday.
