Resilient Raiders refuse to retreat, force Game 7 on Tuesday

After Easter Sunday’s game came to a close, the Prince Albert Raiders raised their sticks to salute their fans after picking up an action packed 5-4 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors to force Game 7 in the WHL opening round playoff series.

Raiders sign Manitoba forward

The Prince Albert Raiders have signed forward Jakob Brook to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.

Brook, a Roblin, Manitoba product, was selected in the second round of the 2017 WHL Bantam Draft following a 20-goal season with the Rink Hockey Academy Bantam Prep in the CSSHL.

In a tight checking but still exciting affair, the Prince Albert Raiders were down 1-0 in the third looking for an equalizer and just for a second, they  they had it.

Warriors steal Game 3 from the Raiders, take 2-1 series lead

The Prince Albert Raiders looked to have taken a 2-1 WHL playoff series lead over the Moose Jaw Warriors when Justin Nachbaur scored to give the Raiders and their 2,840 fans a 4-2 goal to cheer about, with just 2:40 remaining in the game Tuesday at the Art Hauser Centre.

After stealing home ice advantage from the Warriors over the weekend, the Prince Albert Raiders will be looking to feed off the fan support this week in games three and four.

Raiders ready for rowdy rink

After a weekend split in Moose Jaw Friday and Saturday, the Prince Albert Raiders are looking forward to home ice advantage as the series shifts back to the Art Hauser Centre on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Almeida levels series for Warriors with OT winner
