Scott injured in Raiders' home opener loss to MJ

The Prince Albert Raiders will have to wait until Saturday’s rematch against the Moose Jaw Warriors to not only get their first win of the season, but their first goal as well.

The Raiders were shutout by the Warriors 3-0 Friday at the Art Hauser Centre in the Raiders’ home opener.

With the Prince Albert Raiders’ regular season set on open this weekend with a home-and-home against the Moose Jaw Warriors, general manager Curtis Hunt stopped by the paNOW newsroom to rattle through a few items going on with the team.

In the final preseason tune-up, the Prince Albert Raiders fell to the Regina Pats 5-1 Saturday at the Art Hauser.

They finished the exhibition games with a 2-3 record, against a Pats team that finished 3-2-0-1.

Skoleski snipes winner in pre-season debut

Devon Skoleski, the Raiders’ eighth shooter and 16th shooter overall, was the first player to find the back of the net to end the shootout and give Prince Albert a 3-2 pre-season victory over the Regina Pats at the Brandt Centre tonight.
