As the race for leadership of the Saskatchewan New Democrats nears the home stretch, the two vying to secure the top job are slowly separating themselves from one another — though still overwhelming pitch parallel ideas.

Canada's Indigenous Services Minister called out the country's child welfare situation, and advocates have responded.

The final shift at Cameco's Key Lake and McArthur River uranium operations is wrapping up, which will leave a total of 845 people out of work for an expected 10-month lay-off.

Online auction to boost annual P.A. Pyjama Party goal for Ronald McDonald Room

There’s an added twist to the 7th Annual Pyjama Party Fundraiser that was held over the weekend.

An online auction takes place for 24 hours starting at 4 p.m. today to help raise funds to buy a commercial dishwasher for the Ronald McDonald Room at the Victoria Union Hospital.

It will certainly be all smiles if Kelvin Pankiw and the P.A. and District Chamber can get the ear of premier-designate Scott Moe and work towards the construction of a second bridge.

The CEO of the P.A. and District Chamber of Commerce says he's quietly confident the new premier of Saskatchewan will respond to a resounding call for a second bridge over the river.

Silica mine hopes to bring billions to La Ronge

A proposed silica mine south of La Ronge is one step closer to reality.

Camilo Garcia, the CEO of Garcia Silica Incorporated, confirmed he had recently acquired a lease to two lots of land roughly 20 kilometers South of La Ronge.

After years of failed rejuvenation attempts, it appears Locomotive 5080 at the Prince Albert Exhibition Grounds will run again, however, it may be at a a site where rail service of old is showcased in Alberta.
