Silica mine hopes to bring billions to La Ronge

A proposed silica mine south of La Ronge is one step closer to reality.

Camilo Garcia, the CEO of Garcia Silica Incorporated, confirmed he had recently acquired a lease to two lots of land roughly 20 kilometers South of La Ronge.

The new wildfire task force created by the Prince Albert Grand Council may find allies in the Ministry of Environment when it comes to finding answers to a complicated problem.

Court orders oil spill documents sealed to investigators

A judge has decided numerous documents pertaining to the Husky Energy oil spill in 2016, which affected multiple communities along the North Saskatchewan River, will remain sealed to Environment Canada investigators.
