Premier tours local wildfire sites

Saskatchewan’s leader has returned to the Parkland region.

Premier Scott Moe visited the Provincial Wildfire Centre just North of Prince Albert on May 16, where he spoke with media before departing on a tour of the region’s wildfires.

The third-annual Riverside Aboriginal Arts Festival took place Wednesday at the E.A. Rawlinson Centre for the Arts in Prince Albert. Students from Grades 1 to 8 at the school performed as part of the event.

Name change in the works for local elementary school

The Prince Albert Catholic School Division is reviewing suggestions as it looks to change the name of a Prince Albert elementary school to better reflect their Catholic faith.
