The songwriter's cafe has always been one of the featured events during the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards weekend, providing song writers a chance to share their stories as well as get some tips from other songwriters.

Although Roblin has just started the painting, she hopes to recreate the image depicted here on her laptop to support Caribou Legs, an Indigenous long-distance runner, who is preparing for another journey across the country which starts on May 1.

Local artist painting to support long-distance runner

A local artist is creating a painting to support a famed Indigenous long-distance runner.

P.A. arts community prepares for annual showcase

Final preparations have begun for the annual Aurora Art Show and Sale, a showcase of Prince Albert’s artistic community.

Mary Mcleod, one of the artists and founding members involed, said it's a very exciting event to be a part of.
