Selander slugs it out with the best at Cooke

Prince Albert’s Cory Selander proved he can hold his own against the best junior golfers in Canada.

The Cooke Municipal club member tied for the best final round Sunday with 3-under-par-69 to finish tied for fourth at the Golf Canada Future Links event on his home course.

Frank Dunn mini triathlon shortened by rain

The annual Frank Dunn Father's Day Mini Triathlon kicked off at the Frank J. Dunn swimming pool on Sunday morning.

Fourteen people took part in a competition altered by the weather – a 500 metre swim and a 4.5 kilometre run along the Rotary Trail and back.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders' first game of 2015 ended much like their last game of 2014 did, with a loss to the Edmonton Eskimos.

Unlike last year's Western Semifinal in Edmonton, this 31-24 loss doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

PA Celtic girls U-14 and U-16 defeated by Regina

Two girl's Celtic Soccer teams faced Regina on home soil on Saturday. 

After battling their way through, Regina came out on top in both games. 

The Prince Albert under 14 girls played at Kinsmen Park at 9 a.m. and were defeated by FC Regina 4-0.
