P.A. Police have new acting chief

The Prince Albert Board of Police Commissioners has appointed Deputy Chief Jeff Rowden as acting chief.

Rowden will serve until the board finds a new chief of police.

Mayor Greg Dionne said Rowden brings plenty of experience to the role.

Donor provides new automated life-saving machine for Victoria Hospital

Staff at Prince Albert’s Victoria Hospital will no longer need to spend long shifts performing manual CPR on patients in cardiac arrest. Thanks to an anonymous donor, the hospital's new LUCAS automated CPR machine will be up and running very soon.

P.A. love story lasts six decades

When it comes to advice on love, Harold and Shirley Dickson have a few pointers. The couple has been married for 67 years.

"You have to find an understanding wife and a forgiving wife, for one thing," Harold joked when asked about the secret to their long-lasting relationship.

Sherman Drive walkway wanders back into City Hall
