Clara Sanderson, 8, drops the puck for Wednesday's raider game. Sanderson received a Spinoza bear from Chelsea and Trevor, of Power 99. Spinoza bears are given out to children needing a little lift, whether a death in the family, a sickness or transition from a different school.

Bystanders save man's life

It was the quick action of a brave group of bystanders that saved the life of a Prince Albert man on Tuesday.

It happened at the 900 block of 28th Street East when a Sean Crittenden noticed a man lying on the sidewalk as he drove by in his car.

Debate heats up over children’s group home

A proposed foster home for children in the RM of Prince Albert is possibly putting taxpayer's money at risk, says the NDP.

According to an NDP news release, Rising Star Children's Ranch has received $92,160 from the government to operate even though they can't open their doors.
