Oliver Allan Phillip Beatty was born on Tuesday, August 12, 1952 in La Ronge, SK and passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Deschambault Lake, SK at the age of 64 years. Phillip is survived by his loving family: his wife of 38 years, Angelique Beatty; his daughters, Eleanor Beatty, Flora Beatty, Jessica (Donald) Beatty-Custer and Angel Ballantyne; his sons, Curtis (Elizabeth) Sewap, Andrew Beatty, Neil (Georgina) Beatty and Jericho Ballantyne; his sisters, Thelma (John) K., Joyce (Bob) B., Jean S., Nancy H. and Rhoda; his brothers, Isaac (Jeannie) B., Walter (Florence) B., Peter A. (Beatrice) Beatty, David (Myrna) B. and Robert G. (JW) B.; his in-laws, Simon (Lydia) S., James S., Neil S., Amelia, Sarah, Polly (Roy), Verna and Caroline; his grandchildren, Jadine (Monte) M., Bryson C., Gineil B., Markeisha M., Christopher B., Giniva, Roderick, Ginaya, Melvina and Devin M.; his great-grandchildren (chapans), Hilliard “Baby Bones”, McKayla “Sikwistikwan” and Oliver “Little Sarge”; his adopted mom, Eleanor E.; his adopted dad, Andrew E.; and his adopted sisters, Brenda (Tony), Carolyne (Gerri) and Iris (Bruce); as well as numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous foster children from the last 23+ years. He was predeceased by his father, Edward H. Beatty Jr.; his mother, Martha Beatty; his brothers (in infancy), John and Oscar; his grandparents, Edward Sr. & Bella Beatty and Annie & Roby Ballantyne; his firstborn son, Christopher; his mother-in-law, Sophie S.; his father-in-law, Jonah S.; his sisters-in-law, Flora B. and Barbara C.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his faithful canine companion, “Sometimes”; and his camp squirrels, “Sedgewick” and “Ken”. A wake service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at River Park Memorial Chapel in Prince Albert, SK, Reverend Elias Ballantyne officiating. Phillip’s funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Deschambault Lake, SK, Reverend Rachel Custer and Reverend Elias Ballantyne officiating. Interment to follow at Graveyard Island in Deschambault Lake, SK.
