Isabel Ann SCHRIML
September 26, 1926 – March 10, 2017
Isabel passed away at the Victoria Hospital on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the age of 90 years. Isabel was born in Meacham, SK to Nicholas and Mary Yanciw on September 26, 1926. She later met and married Herman Schriml on July 16, 1946 where they established their lives in Prince Albert and raised two children Garry and Wendy. While raising the family she worked at PA Drycleaners, Pines Drive-In and later for the City of Prince Albert Arenas. She was known for making the best popcorn in the Western Hockey League. You would find her watching sports and cheering the Prince Albert Raiders on every chance she had and on quieter times knitting. Isabel’s memory will be cherished by: her son Garry (Doreen White); daughter Wendy (Wayne) Roznowsky; grandchildren, Ryan Roznowsky, Ashley (Wade) Klippenstein, Jayme (Nadine) White and David White; great grandchildren, Bowman Klippenstein, Easton Klippenstein, Dresden Klippenstein, Parker White, Charlie White, and sisters-in-law, Marie Yanciw, Frances Yanciw and Nina Bolla; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. Isabel’s predecessors are her husband Herman Schriml in 1998; siblings William Yanciw, Frank Yanciw, Joseph Yanciw, Albert Yanciw and Pauline Dolan. A Celebration of Isabel’s Life will be held at a later date. Honourary Pallbearers are Ryan Roznowsky, Ashley Klippenstein, Jayme White, David White, Nadine White and Wade Klippenstein.
