SOUTH SASK OPEN WATER CLASSIC ( Provincial championship)

Four swimmers from Prince Albert Sharks swim club traveled to Swift Current to compete in the Open Water provincial championship last weekend.

Three Junior swimmers competed for the first time ever and one Master swimmer.

It was a great experience for the Junior swimmers to tryout the Open water event and they showed a high performance in the 1500 m race.

• Liam Murphy and Luthar Wiberg ranked top 10 in the race.

• Joy Friesen came first in the 3000 meters with a fantastic performance to end up the season with adding one Gold medal. She got the Bronze medal in the 1500 Free in the Masters National championship which has been held in Calgary, May 2018.

We are pleased with our swimmers results and performance.

The club offer a Variety of programmes to meet the kid’s potentials and ambitions not only on the competitive level but also on the recreational level.

We still have spaces in the Little Nippers group and Cadets Group too. Any new kids are more than welcome in PA Sharks swim club.
