Search for the Stars

The E. A. Rawlinson Centre proudly presents the 4th Annual Search for the Stars on May 6 at 8 p.m. Eighteen acts were chosen from 70 acts that auditioned to take part in this showcase of youth talent. The goal of the Search for the Stars Program is to give area youth the opportunity to take their craft one step further. Everyone who auditions is given immediate feedback from a panel of judges with skill sets in many aspects of performance. They also receive the comments in written format. The people chosen to be part of Search for the Stars participate in a workshop in which the judge/facilitators work with the performers. Search for the Stars is also a contest. At the end of the concert on May 6 a Senior Star, Junior Star, Novice Star and Songwriter of the Year will be named. Participants in Search for the Stars 2011 are:
