Fundraiser for Ahtakakoop Fire Victims

March 27th the Ahenakew/Kay families will be hosting a banquet and a caberet for Wayne Ahenakew and Cody Kay and to start a scholarship for the memory of Donna Kay & Teegan Ahenakew.

Donna and Teegan did not survive the fire December 29th, 2014, which totally destroyed the family home, leaving the survivors: Wayne and Cody with only the clothing on their backs.

Tickets are $20.00 for the Banquet and Loonie Auction which will be held at the Prince Albert Friendship Centre in PA March 27th starting at 5:00 p.m.

Following will be a live music benefit. The family sends a huge thank you to the bands: Black Rain, Bannock Country and Constant Reminder who will be performing this event at the P. A. Union Centre from 9a.m. until 2 p.m.
Advance tickets: $15.00 at the door $20.00.

On December 29th Cody Kay and Wayne Ahenakew suffered a horrific tradegy. Their family home burned down and Donna Kay and Teegan Ahenakew did not make it out of the home . That day when the family home went into flames my uncle lost his soul mate, and grandson. Tyson lost his mother and son. Vanessa lost her sweet Teegs, his grandparents lost a grandson my cousins lost their mother and nephew, grandchildren lost their grandmother and cousin, Ms. Buffalo lost her daughter, her siblings lost their sister and grandchild.  Teegs hockey team mates lost a friend. His cousins lost a best friend.
