To Save a Life Group Takes ASIST Training and Goes Back North

Last week Thursday and Friday some of the TSAL team members joined others for the Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) seminars.

It was an intense two days and an invaluable experience.

This week of March 14 to 18 TSAL is in Onion Lake for set up meetings then off to Loon Lake on Wednesday and Thursday for meetings at Makwa Sahgaiecan School.

They will be with Grades 5 to 8 on Wednesday then with Grades 7 to 12 and a community event on Thursday.

There are many more events to come in various communities and we can always use volunteers.
