Kim Fisher Shares Loonie Pot

Kim Fisher of Prince Albert and Betty Regnier of St. Louis will share the $5,000 Loonie Pot they won on Thursday, December 30th playing the Victoria Hospital Foundation’s Wekkly Radio Bingo. For Kim this is the second time she has won a Loonie Pot. This is Betty’s first Loonie Pot win. They will split the $5,000 prize. Loonie Pot winners also receive a “Lucky Ducky tee shirt to go with their win.

Since launching Weekly Radio Bingo, in February of 2009, there have been twelve $5,000 Loonie Pot wins to date. In total more than $145,000 in prize money has been won by Weekly Radio Bingo players. Proceeds are used by the Victoria Hospital Foundation to assist with the purchase of needed medical equipment for the Victoria Regional Hospital.

The Victoria Hospital Foundation recently announced it will be increasing the prize value of the Loonie Pots to $10,000 in 2011. Currently, there is one $5,000 Loonie Pot to be won which is carried over from 2010.

Proceeds from Weekly Radio Bingo have been used to assist with the purchase of: special STAXI wheel chairs, Endoscopy Surgical Equipment and Surgical Equipment for the hospital’s Operating Rooms.
