Nov 30, 2010 | 9:28 AM

The next phase of the Prince Albert Community Action Plan on Homelessness and Housing is in the planning stages.

There a number of focus groups happening around the city  in the coming weeks to gather information from those affected by this issue.

The results of this research will help determine what actions will be taken in the future regarding this important issue.

There will be 2 Public focus groups only, the rest will be with groups who have been selected.

If you work with people who are affected by housing/homelessness issues or if you have had those experiences yourself, please take one hour and come to answer 6 questions.  We need your input.

The two public meetings will be Wednesday, December 1st at Riverside Community School 511 – 5th Avenue East  ( use 5th street entrance past the shed)  There are two meetings: (see attached poster)
(1.) 1:00 – 2:00 pm in the community room
(2)  7:00 – 8:00 pm in the school library.

The Community Networking Coalition is working with Solar North Systems to help organize the focus group to ensure public participation.

Please e-mail me or call (see contact info below) if you can come or if you can arrange for your clients/those affected by homelessness from your group/organization/church to attend

Thank you for helping with this important event.
