Safety first at first safety expo

Oct 22, 2011 | 11:45 AM

Peggy Grace, left, with the Heart and Stroke Foundation teaches Jascinta Beaven how to perform no-mouth, or bystander CPR.

It’s one of many events on today at the Gateway Mall for Prince Albert’s first Family Safety Expo.

About a dozen community safety organizations including the Parkland Ambulance, Prince Albert Police Service, the Prince Albert Fire Department and St. John Ambulance are on hand.

They’re there to spread safety information and provide insight for everything from CPR to proper child car seat care to emergency preparedness.
