Great news! The Victoria Hospital Foundation is very excited to announce that the 11th Annual Give a Little Life Day Radiothon is scheduled for Friday, December 2, 2016 and will support our hospital’s surgical unit! Our Board and staff have worked very hard with the PAPHR over the last few months and have become aware of a great need to update, replace and purchase additional equipment to enhance and grow the various areas of our surgical unit.
Our Foundation and our supporters are determined to continue the surge forward for better patient care in our community.
Each year, we ask for a testimonial or ‘patient story’ that helps the community understand and remember the critical role that our local medical professionals play in the health and safety of us all. This year, we are seeking a passionate and powerful story of someone who has undergone surgery in our hospital.
Please advise us if you might know the perfect ambassador. All that is required is a signed waiver, written letter (or email) of their story, a photograph and their willingness to ‘tell’ their experience on radiothon day. Real stories are what inspire people. Real stories are what we all can relate to. I hope you can help us.
