Get ready to have your mind blown by the world of Lego. Who would have thought the popular toy we all enjoyed as a kids, would one day become a major motion picture. Visually this is one of the most stunning movies I have ever seen. The Lego world is brought to life in a way that I still can't quite comprehend. I cannot imagine the hours and hours of work that went into making it, not to mention the patience.

The Lego world is being run by a dictator named Lord Business (voiced by Will Ferrell). An old prophecy talks of a “special “who will find the special piece of resistance and save the world. Through a strange turn of events, the “special” turns out to be the unlikeliest of heroes.

The writers and directors went through a lot of effort to bring the world of Lego alive. This movie is packed with cool characters and an endless run of jokes. If this movie had a fault, it would be that the story seems to suffer a bit at the hands of the animation; but not enough that audiences will be turned off.

There are a lot of familiar being provided for this movie. Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman, Elizabeth Banks, Jonah Hill, Liam Neeson, and Shaquille O'Neal are but a few of the big stars you might recognize.

The Lego Movie earned $69 million in its opening weekend. I definitely foresee this movie selling out theatres for a few weeks.
