The Ready to Work Inclusion Program is a program of The Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work (CCRW). RWIP supports people with disabilities to access first time employment or re-enter the workforce.

At RWIP we recognize that people with disabilities have something valuable to offer our community. They bring fresh ideas, unique thought processes, different points of views and a rich variety of talents.

In Canada there are almost 800,000 working aged citizens with a disability who are not working but have the skills and ability to contribute to the business community. Yet, despite the wealth of skill sets and looming labour shortage, this significant labour pool is being overlooked.

At CCRW we believe that by connecting directly with employers, and supporting them in their staff training and recruitment needs we can promote the hiring of qualified people with disabilities in Canada.

If you are one of these 800,000, and an eligible and suitable client, then we can provide a supported six month wage subsidy to help you achieve your employment goals.

The Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and work (CCRW) has qualified staff ready to assist you find meaningful employment and make sure you have tools and supports needed for long-term success.

To be eligible for the program you must be;
1) A person with a disability ready and motivated to find work
2) Unemployed or working less than 20 hours per week
3) Not eligible for assistance under Employment Insurance (EI) benefits
4) Not currently enrolled in school.
